Massey Hall is committed to delivering world-class experiences that are inclusive and accessible to all patrons. Recent upgrades include accessible seating across all levels, barrier-free facilities, and—for the first time in our 126-year history—elevator access to upper-level amenities via the 178 Victoria Street entrance (southeast corner).
Accessibile Entrance
At Massey Hall, anyone with accessibile needs with tickets on Level 100 should arrvie via the Front Entrance on Shuter Street.
Anyone with accessible needs with tickets on Levels 200 and 300 should arrive at 178 Victoria Street entrance (South East corner of the building).
Accessible Seating
Massey Hall has accessible seating across all levels of the Hall.
Accessible seats may be purchased via our online booking system, however if you require additional assistance please email our Customer Service Team at [email protected].


ACCESS SERVICES
- All levels of Massey Hall are wheelchair accessible.
- Tickets can be purchased online.
- Personal assistive devices are welcome but must be stored outside the auditorium during performances.
- Level 100 guests: Use the Front Entrance
- Levels 200 & 300 guests: Use the 178 Victoria Street entrance
- Private, accessible washrooms are available.
- Bariatric seating is offered upon request (email: [email protected]).
- Courtesy wheelchairs are available (advance booking optional: [email protected]).
- Priority access seating is available without pre-booking (optional email: [email protected]).
- Large-font or digital programs are available when provided by artists.
- Front of House staff will assist patrons upon arrival.
- Massey Hall uses a Bosch infrared assisted listening system.
- Receivers and headsets are free to borrow from the Front of House office.
- Personal headsets with 1/8" jack are compatible. Wireless earbuds are not.

ASL interpretation may be available for select performances (email: [email protected]).
- Support persons are welcome and must have a valid ticket.
- Service animals are permitted with proper ID or documentation and can be accommodated in most seating areas (email: [email protected] to reserve suitable seating).
- While patrons are encouraged to avoid scented products, a scent-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
- If needed, speak with the House Manager for alternative seating options.
- Obus Form cushions and booster seats are available from Front of House (advance booking optional).
Certified First Aid, CPR, and AED responders are on-site at every event. Contact an usher for assistance.
